The Cracow Open 2017 was won by the mixed team I am your Stan<\/em> (Stanis\u0142aw Stefaniak<\/strong>\/Poznan, William Wildi<\/strong>\/LSE)\u00a0from\u00a0Closing Opposition. They debated in the final against\u00a0Mainor A\u00a0<\/em>(Oskar Gross<\/strong>, Kaspar Kelder<\/strong>) in\u00a0Opening Government, Pun\u00a0<\/em>(Ben Shaw<\/strong>\/GUU alumnus, Mirijana Muntean<\/strong>\/DK Wien) in Opening Opposition and AGK\u015a<\/span><\/em> (Alexander Starchurski<\/strong>, Mateusz W\u00f3jtowicz<\/strong> – Warsaw) in Closing Government\u00a0on the motion “This House welcomes the commercialisation of national symbols”. <\/em>The final was adjudicated by\u00a0Alex Moise<\/strong>\u00a0<\/em>(chair) together with\u00a0Harish Natarajan<\/strong>, Karolina Partyga<\/strong>, Calyxx Peucker<\/strong> and Cheryl Nazik<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Wiliam Wildi\u00a0was declared best speaker of the tournament with an average of 79,40\u00a0<\/em>speaker points. CAs of Cracow Open were\u00a0Harish Natarajan, Karolina Partyga and Stefan Siridzanski<\/strong> and Alex Moise was the equity officer. The tournament was organized by\u00a0Jan Pacan<\/strong>,\u00a0Mateusz W\u0119c<\/strong>,\u00a0Ula Ma\u0142ecka\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Klaudia Maciejewska\u00a0<\/strong>from Klub Debat Parlamentarnych<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
