The team Real Friends Crash Out of Quarters Together<\/em> (Milla Huuskonen, Katharina Jansen<\/strong>; Helsinki\/Leiden) has won the Prague Open 2019 as Closing Government. In the final, they defeated the Opening Government Unironically Emulating Kafka<\/em> (Uzair Tajuddin, Florens Rilling, Munich<\/strong>), the Opening Opposition Streitkultur A<\/em> (Samuel Scheuer, Marius Hobbhahn<\/strong>, T\u00fcbingen) and the Closing Opposition Streitkultur B<\/em> (Dominik Hermle, Joschka Braun<\/strong>). The debate on the motion “THBT the fight against Climate Change should include taking international action against sovereign countries (such as exclusion from international institutions, sanctions, military intervention, etc.), which allow environmental abuses through direct action or negligence” was judged by a panel of Noemie Gauthier<\/strong> (chair), Lovro \u0160prem<\/strong>, Tereza Gajdov\u00e1<\/strong>, Petr Gongala<\/strong> and Nina Lampela<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n Best speaker of the tournament was Samuel Scheuer with an average of 79.40 speaker points.<\/p>\n Teambreak:<\/strong> Judge Break (in alpabetical order):<\/strong> The tournament, which was attended by 24 teams, was organised by the Debatn\u00ed klub Univerzity Karlovy with Ani\u010dka \u010c\u00e1msk\u00e1<\/strong> and Martin Hor\u00e1k <\/span><\/span><\/strong>acting as main conveners.
