Participants get to know various formats, from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.debattiergesellschaft.de\/zeitdebattejena\/files\/Kommentiertes_Regelwerk_des_Wartburg-Formats_2009.pdf.zip\">Wartburg<\/a> (a special format developped in Thuringia and named after the famous castle), <a href=\"http:\/\/opd.streitkultur.net\/\">OPD<\/a> (Open Parliamentary Debate, widely spread in Germany), and <a href=\"http:\/\/vdch.de\/unterlagen\/regeln\/bps2007.pdf\">BPS<\/a> (British Parliamentary Style) to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.streitkultur.net\/Disputation\/Regeln%20der%20Disputation%202.7b.pdf\">Disputation<\/a> (a format of strict rules based on Aristotle\u2019s disputation). Aim of the non-competitive debaters\u2019 meeting is to experience and learn \u2013 especially for adjudicators, since they should not focus on ranking teams during any tournament, but should rather exercise constructive criticism, <strong>Benjamin Finger<\/strong> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.debattiergesellschaft.de\/neu\/index.php?option=com_content&amp;id=104&amp;Itemid=91\">from DGJ reports on their website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Debaters from all VDCH clubs are welcome.
