On the 19th of April 2014, the society "Aberdeen University Debater" will host the "Debater: University of Aberdeen Open". The one-day tournament in the Scottish city of Aberdeen features 4 preliminary rounds and a direct break to the finale and will be CAed by Joe Dyer and Heather Whiteside. Debattieren in Schottland! Am 13. März steht das Aberdeen IV 2010 an. Geplant sind vier Vorrunden mit fünfminütigen Reden und der direkte Break ins Finale. Chefjuror ist Ewan MacDonald. 40 BPS-Teams werden antreten, die Teilnahme kostet 20 Britische Pfund (umgerechnet etwa 23 Euro) pro Rednerteam, die Teilnahme für Juroren ist kostenfrei. Das Turnier findet in englischer Sprache statt. Einfache Schlafmöglichkeiten können in den Nächten von Freitag auf Samstag und von Samstag auf Sonntag zur Verfügung gestellt werden.
