Should the Worlds’ OrgCom host an official Yakka-Party: A Debate / Contra

For a few years now, it has been a loved and honoured tradition of the South African Delegation to host a Yakka-Party. Until Worlds 2013, the party was organized separately from the official part of the tournament. Money was collected and the ingredients for the Yakka (lemons, wodka and sugar) were bought in a private context. For the first time in 2013, the organizers of Berlin Worlds decided to integrate the Yakka-Party into the official schedule. New vice president in Münster

Changes on the executive board of Debattierclub Münster: Teresa Widlok just replaced Gerrit Gottschalk as vice president of the debating society. She is now working with president Aris Miro Marinello and Philipp Schmidtke who have already been elected in summer. Good luck!

Rain, rain, rain - all over Germany! But the brave debaters of the Boddencup never gave in and even did their BBQ in Greifswald. A short lesson on German geography: "Bodden are brackish bodies of water along the southwestern shores of the Baltic Sea, primarily in Germany's state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern around the island of Rügen," as Wikipedia has it.
