British Parliamentary Style inthe French capital: From 1 to 3 April 2011 this year’s Paris IV will be staged by the river Seine. Chief adjudicators (CA) are Jens Fischer, Maja Cimerman and Ben Woolgar.All three of them are renown debaters on the international debating circuit: Jens is currently chair of the WUDC and the EUDC Councils, from the latter of which he will resign soon. Maja was an ESL finalist at Worlds 2011 and ESL finalist at Amsterdam Euros. Ben was a finalist at the grand final in Botswana, a finalist of Amsterdam Euros and is the designated CA of the Belgrade bid for Euros 2012.

Details on registration and reg fees will be announced until mid February, as Desislava Tocheva from the organzational team of the Paris IV revealed to Achte Minute.By then, the website and the Facebook site on the Parisian tournament will be updated too, Desislava promises.

As Jens Fischer just revealed to Achte Minute, he cannot be CA at the Paris IV.

Addendum 14. February 2011:

Registration for the Paris IV is now open, as Desislava released today. Reg fees are 90 Euros per team, judges are free. Crash is available if required for an additional fee of 10 Euros per person. Also included in the package: five-minute speeches up to semis, seven-minute speeches in the final, application of n-1 rule, meals, wine and French tradition, Desislava promises.
