EUDC 2017 Day 2: First Timers at Euros
The EUDC is attracting many of the same people again and again every year. But there are also always the people who come to Euros the first time and don’t know what to expect and what will be happening.

Day 1: TH supports coming to Tallinn EUDC
Day one is over and the participants of Tallinn EUDC are still hopeful and excited.
At least it seems like it.
The Achte Minute went around asking participant to deliver their best case for either Government or Opposition on the motions “TH supports coming to Tallinn EUDC” The overwhelming majority proposed that it was a great idea to join and also the voice who regrets coming, can’t really been taken seriously.

Estonian Open 2014
From the 11th to the 13th of April the Estonian Open 2014, one of the largest tournaments in the region, will take place in the beautiful city of Tallinn. The Estonian capital has also been the battleground of the European Universities Debating Championships 2008.
The tournament, hosted by Rasmus Raag and Selene Gnadenteich, will have 5 preliminary rounds with 5 minute speeches, open semis and final with 7 minute speeches each. For all novice debaters, that is to say for those who have not been debating British Parliamentary Style for over a year, there is a special novice final.

Estonian Open 2010: Jens Fischer zum Chefjuror berufen
Von den Ausrichtern der Estonian Open 2010, der Estonian Debating Society, ist Jens Fischer zum Chefjuror berufen worden. Die Estonian Open 2010 finden in der Zeit vom 6. bis 9. Mai in Tallinn statt.
Die Estonian Open 2010 werden in diesem Jahr neben dem Turnierbetrieb auch eine umfangreiche Rednerschulung anbieten. Von Donnerstag bis Freitag Mittag werden erfahrene Juroren in die höheren Weihen des British Parlamentary Style einführen. Neben zahlreichen weiteren Juroren haben sich Daniel Grotzky (ESL Finalist der Europameisterschaften 2006 in Berlin und bester Redner der IUB Open in 2007) und Uve Poom (ESL-Europameister 2007) angekündigt.

Estonian Open 2010
Von 6. bis 9. Mai wird in Tallinn das Estonian Open 2010 ausgetragen. Fünf Vorrunden und zwei Finalrunden sind geplant. Das Turnier wird in englischer Sprache und im Format BPS stattfinden. 40 Zweierteam können am Estonian Open teilnehmen. Am Donnerstagnachmittag und Freitagvormittag sind Workshops geplant, die erste Vorrunde findet am Freitagnachmittag statt, das Finale am Samstagabend. Alle Informationen rund um das Turnier finden sich auf der Turnierhomepage des Estonian Open. Auch die Anmeldung ist über diese Seite ab 1. März möglich. Das Estonian Open war vormals unter dem Namen Tallinn Open etabliert.
