Am 07. Dezember richtete die Budapest Debate Union ein eintägiges Novice-Turnier aus, an dem Debattierende teilnehmen konnten, deren erstes internationales Turnier weniger als ein Jahr zurücklag.

Nach drei Vorrunden setzte sich im Finale das Team “No claps, only142 fingersnaps” (Şevval Doruk, Nadia Alina Sol) in der Schließenden Opposition durch. Ebenfalls im Finale vertreten waren die Teams “barely legal” (Florian Ratzinger, Christopher Löwenstein; DK Wien) in der Eröffnenden Regierung, “wird nachgereicht” (Amelie Heimpold, Britney Poon; DC München/DCGF) in der Eröffnenden Opposition und “Naših 14 minut” (Izak Kabir Khan, Žiga Eržen) in der Schließenden Regierung. Das Finale wurde juriert von Diána Pásztor im Chair, Henri Polak (DK Wien), Márton Hudáky, Saif Muhannad und Sebastian Thaller (DK Wien).

Aus dem VDCH-Land nahmen Teams und Jurierende aus Wien, München und Frankfurt am Turnier teil. Die Teams “barely legal” (Florian Ratzinger, Christopher Löwenstein; DK Wien) und “wird nachgereicht” (Amelie Heimpold, Britney Poon; DC München/DCGF) breakten ins Finale, als Jurierende breakten Henri Polak (DK Wien) und Sebastian Thaller (DK Wien) und jurierten beide das Finale. Felix Baldauf (DK Wien) war außerdem Teil des CA-Panels.

Das Turnier wurde von der Budapest Debate Union ausgerichtet und von Lívia Horváth hauptorganisiert. Das CA-Panel bestand aus Teja Sapac, Felix Baldauf und András Meleg, es tabbte Diána Pásztor.
