One way towards a solution of the general problem might be found in filming the adjudication discussion – as we did with the final round adjudication of Jena’s Adventsdebatte 2016 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VILJoRC53Fg). That way we get more examples of well-managed discussions and of bad ones. And I believe this might be a strong instrument for both learning to chair an adjudication properly and in reflecting about oneself’s behaviour (as a wing).
